Title of contract: Communities and Nature (CAN) - Small Value Projects
Description of contract: The Countryside Council for Wales (CCW) is preparing to manage an umbrella project called Communities and Nature (CAN).
The central aim of CAN is to innovatively capitalise on the natural environment of Wales to generate sustainable jobs and enable a greater number and wider range of Wales’ residents to access these new opportunities.
To this end CCW is seeking innovative project ideas from organisations with the aim of developing some ideas submitted, through a process of dialogue, to the stage where a contract can be awarded.

Title of contract: The Intermediate Labour Market
Description of the contract: WCVA is inviting expressions of interest from organisations who would like to develop and submit proposals to deliver high quality activities and opportunities for economically inactive and unemployed individuals that will result in positive outcomes for those individuals. This will be through the submission of a pre-qualification questionnaire.

Title of contract: Gwynedd Rural Development Projects for the Rural Development Plan for Wales 2007-2013: Productive Communities (Cymunedau Cynhyrchiol)
Description of the contract: A series of seven projects will be implemented in Gwynedd under the Rural Development Plan for Wales 2007-2013. It will be possible for the projects to operate as a series, in which individuals can move on from one stage to another (and join the process at any stage), or take advantage of one or two activities only. This contract is for the second of these projects.
The aim of the Productive Communities project is to add value to the unique characteristics of Gwynedd, its assets, produce and "offers" and to maximise the economic benefits for rural communities. This project will emphasise Gwynedd's unique selling point - the quality of the environment and its produce.

Title of contract: COASTAL Project - Prison In-Reach Service, HMP Swansea. Deadline date for submission of pre-qualification questionnaire: 15.04.2009
Description of the contract: The City and County of Swansea Council are seeking to invite suitably qualified and experienced organisations to tender for the delivery of a range of advice and support services, to be delivered as part of the COASTAL Project, to individuals who, at the time of engagement, are detained at Her Majesty’s Prison Swansea.
Service delivery within this contract will be targeted at prisoners within the community of HMP Swansea, who are ordinarily resident within the geographical areas of the Project Joint Sponsors, namely; City & County of Swansea, Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council, Bridgend County Borough Council, Carmarthenshire County Council, Pembrokeshire County Council and Ceredigion County Council. The City & County of Swansea will act in the capacity as the Lead Sponsor for the project.

The COASTAL project (Creating Opportunities And Skills Teams Alliance) is a regional project part funded by the European Social Fund as part of the 2007 - 2013 Convergence Programme.
